FAQ

Are Kit Prodigy samples royalty free?

Yes. All of our samples are royalty free and can be used in your mixes without licensing.

What file format are the samples?

All of our samples are high resolution (.wav) files that can be utilized in all DAW's. Either load up a preset, or simply drag and drop into your sessions.

What do you mean by analog processed?

All of our samples are recordings of real acoustic drums in real studios. Our samples are not emulations of drums processed "in the box" in a digital environment. We make use of analog processing and console summing to achieve our end product, often utilizing vintage channel strips and true outboard compression. Kit Prodigy samples are treated and then converted to digital via a Burl B2 Bomber ADC at 24 bit / 48 khz prior to being organized into their packs.

What's included in each pack?

Our packs consist of 100's of stereo .wav files and presets for Kontakt 6 Full, Slate Trigger 2, and Battery 4. All of our samples are treated for efficiency via EQ and compression. All original pack samples are processed with subtle UREI 1176 compression (4:1 at -2db GR) and Tube Tech CL1B EQ's. If you purchase an "analog modifier" pack - your pack features another version of the same samples treated through a different stereo compressor.

Can I try the samples out before buying?

Kit Prodigy offers a free sample pack by visiting our home page and signing up to our newsletter. This sample pack includes over 200+ samples, many of which are featured in our Halcyon, Cinema, and Hitmaker packs.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of digital downloads being irrevocable, all sales are final.
